13.11.2009 I would like to note my consideration concerning our last litter of english setters here. Will be very interesting to come back to this my consideration after one year to evaluate if I am right or not. I suppose this time we broke barrier of our old-fashioned type of english setters from our previous litters. Old-fashioned english setters was pertinent statement of one experienced foreign judge.
My intention was to combine blood of Silvanos, Fairrays and Blue Baltics with blood of our working line. On the present our last puppies have quite different type of head, with higher stop. Already now they have excellent angulation of limbs. They are one month old and on their tails is sweeping fur, what I never seen on so young puppies. It can be promise of their rich fur in the future. Although the father of puppies is orange-belton we keep blue-beltons and tricolours in our breed. Hearing test is in order. And I am not affraid concerning their hunting abilities. 6th October 2009 PUPPIES ENGLISH SETTER 6th October 2009 was born next generation of english setters in DAMA Krkonoše kennel. Mother Ivonne Lady DAMA Krkonoše is proud of very well-balanced litter. The weigh of bitches is between 390 and 395 grs and dogs 410 grs. We informed father of puppies „Dixi“ – Tuliketun Runo-Ratsu by return. Three girls has black patch close their right ear, others are white, without patches. So we suppose three puppies will be tricolour and others can be orangebelton or bluebelton. We have to wait some time to know it exactly. We wish them undisturbed and happy life. 1.9.2009 Today´s sonograph investigation confirms pregnancy of our english setter bitch Ivonne Lady DAMA Krkonoše, which was mated by Tuliketun Runo – Ratsu. We are looking forward for new generation of english setters from our kennel approximately October 6th, 2009. Names of puppies will start with letter „M“. Who planes to take our puppy, can let us know suitable name of his new doggy friend.
